About Me!

Hello! My name is Kellie Marino and I am a 4th Grade Teacher in Austin, TX. I have been an elementary school teacher for 11 years and this is my first year teaching 4th Grade. I am a fan of using technology in the classroom and enjoy teaching reading and reading in my spare time. Although, this year I am focused on teaching math, science and social studies!

At school, I had the honor of being named “Teacher of the Year” on my campus for the 2014-15 school year. Currently, I serve on our Teacher Leadership Board and our Campus Leadership Board as the co-chair. My classroom is also a demonstration classroom for Project Based Learning and technology integration. I am in my second year of the National Board Certification process for Literacy.

My wonderful husband, Anthony and I have three children, Madeleine, Cameron and Baby Hayden. Our family is home to two sweet cats named Ponyo and Sousuke.  We live in South Austin and love it here! I like to spend nice weather days hiking, swimming, shopping and going out for coffee with friends.

Outside of school and family, I also craft teaching materials to sell on Teachers Pay Teachers! Currently, I have been really focused on making awesome math materials that cater to Texas state standards (TEKS)!

I would love to see your comments down below or feel free to Pin, Tweet, or Post any of my stuff out in the web-o-sphere!

Lots of Love,

How can you be a mother of three, a teacher, and look so together? We were looking on your website because Beckett came home without homework…I think we’ll read extra tonight and talk about science. 🙂 Ashley

    Ms. Marino,
Thank you so much for the lovely letter that you crafted for Sam. It made Jen and I so very proud. I am thankful that Sam had you as a teacher. We wish you and your family the best. Peace, Love and Marshalls to 11!
